Statement:
"Painting is my way of communicating my most intimate impressions of nature and my deep feeling about my subject and the world around me. As an artist, I try to interpret nature because it is also my basic belief, that nature is a true source of our peace. If my work has touched someone and brought the viewer to a place of peace and insight, it will have reached it's goal."

Vita / Lebenslauf:
Born in 1939 in Woodbury, New Jersey. His training as an artist was at the Philadelphia College of Art, The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, San Antonio College and the San Antonio Art Institute. BA, MFA, Greenwich University, He worked as an illustrator for the Army medical center in Texas, Don moved to NW Arkansas in 1981 and taught art at North Arkansas College,1983-2005 Presently, he paints full time and also teaches watercolor and egg tempera workshops.
